"We were excited to finally find our dream home in north San Diego County. The only problem was that it needed a little updating. We hired Catspaw Construction to turn our vision into reality. Our requirements included quite a bit of structural remodeling; including raising the kitchen ceiling, lowering the attic floor, and removing & relocating some interior walls to create a more open floorplan. Rooms that were completely revamped were the kitchen, attic, and master vanity/bath. Other upgrades included new interior doors, flooring, and baseboards. We love the results! As with all major projects, there were a few bumps along the way, but Tony and his team provided excellent problem-solving skills to resolve issues quickly. We can’t wait to move in!

We moved to California from the Washington metropolitan area in August 2014 after my wife and I retired.
We bought a house in the Ocean Hills Country Club community. This house needed a complete renovation. Our realtor introduced us to Tony, the owner of Catspaw Construction, prior to our purchase to give us a cost reference for the project. Tony listened to our ideas and gave us an idea of the cost and scope of the work. We liked him and decided that he would be the general contractor.
We have been extremely satisfied with Tony and the whole Catspaw crew. His crew was competent, friendly, and professional. Our neighbors commented on their good work ethic. Tony's vision and knowledge of structural engineering and his ability to think outside the box, as well as his ability to incorporate our ideas for the renovation resulted in a great retirement home for us. Tony and his crew worked at an agreed upon pace to meet our timeline for moving out of our rental. We have recommended Tony and his crew to anyone we meet who is contemplating a renovation project. We do not hesitate to allow people into our house to see Tony's work.

I found Tony Pawlowski to be totally reliable and professional; and moreover, his estimates were more than reasonable. We closed escrow and Tony had less than two weeks to get done what I wanted before we moved in. Not only did he get done what I wanted, but what he did to assist me in the move went above and beyond any reasonable expectations. He took care of any and all issues with the materials, and never complained about any imposition this may have caused. He cared about every detail, and that I was satisfied with the work. I am totally satisfied and it has been a pleasure and a privilege to have worked with Tony and his crew, especially Mike and Nick and Dave, the tile person.
